Ziguinchor, 19 avr (Aps)- Les participants au forum sur le rôle des femmes dans le processus de paix en Casamance ont appelé samedi à ‘’l’unité’’ et à la ‘’coordination’’ de toutes les initiatives des organisations de femmes en faveur de la paix dans la région Sud.

Le forum sur ‘’le rôle de la femme dans la résolution des conflits en Afrique : le cas de la Casamance’’ s’est ouvert samedi à l’Alliance française de Ziguinchor, à l’initiative de Amnesty Sénégal, le Mouvement citoyen en partenariat avec la Fondation Konrad Adenauer.

Des représentants du Mouvement des Forces démocratiques de Casamance (MFDC) dont Daniel Diatta venu représenter le secrétaire général Jean-Marie François Biagui, et Abdou Elinkin Diatta, ont assisté à la rencontre.

De nombreux groupes de femmes dont Usoforal et Kabankétor multiplient les initiatives en matière de paix. Mais, le forum a plaidé pour l’unité’’ et la ‘’coordination’’ de leurs actions.

Il a fait état du ‘’blocage’’ dans le processus de paix en Casamance et souligné ‘’le rôle de facilitateur que peuvent jouer les femmes’’ dans la relance de ce processus.

Dans leur déclaration finale, les participants ont encouragé les organisations de femmes à ‘’entreprendre de concert des démarches visant à relancer le processus de paix entre le gouvernement et le MFDC’’.

Ils ont également exhorté le gouvernement et le mouvement séparatiste à ‘’faire preuve de bonne foi’’ dans la conduite du processus de paix et à ‘’lever tous les préalables et toutes les objections qui ont jusqu’ici constitué des blocages pour des négociations sérieuses’’.

Le forum a en outre exhorté le MFDC à ‘’réexaminer ses revendications concernant le statut juridiques de la Casamance à la lumière de la tendance générale observée sur le continent et dans le monde en faveur de l’intégration et de l’unité’’.

Depuis l’accord de paix signé en 2004, la Casamance qui était en proie à un mouvement indépendantiste connaît une accalmie. Cependant de nombreuses voix s’élèvent, pour inviter les deux parties à la table des négociations pour une paix définitive.

Face à un MFDC en manque d’unité, même si ces représentants réfutent cette thèse, l’Etat semble observer se désagréger le mouvement indépendantiste, pensent certains.

En visite à Ziguinchor le 27 février dernier, le chef de l’Etat avait salué le retour de la paix en Casamance et invité les ‘’fils’’ qui sont encore dans le maquis ou à l’étranger à venir participer à cette ‘’vaste et exaltante entreprise de reconstruction’’ en cours dans la région.

‘’La paix est revenue. Mais il y a encore quelques uns de nos fils qui sont encore dans la forêt ou à l’étranger’’, avait dit Abdoulaye Wade au cours d’un meeting. Il estimait qu’‘’il y a un moment pour la guerre, un moment pour la paix et un moment pour la reconstruction’’.

Pour le moment, ‘’il n’y a pas encore la paix’’, a ajouté Daniel Diatta qui s’exprimait dans le cadre d’un forum sur ‘’le rôle de la femme dans la résolution des conflits en Afrique : le cas de la Casamance’’. Une manifestation organisée par Amnesty Sénégal et le Mouvement citoyen, en partenariat avec la Fondation Konrad Adenauer.

’’J’ai peur. J’ai peur quand j’entends Daniel dire qu’il n’y a pas la paix. Les populations ont assez souffert de ce conflit. Dans notre village, il n’y a plus de vieux. Tous sont morts quand ils ont été contraints au déplacement. Nous voulons la paix pour enfin vivre comme tout le monde’’, a déclaré Mame Aïda Sow Faye, une jeune fille de la communauté rurale de Santhiaba Manjack.

Fatou, qui a connu le déplacement, a également abondé dans le même sens. ‘’Les gens ont largement souffert de ce conflit. Et quand j’entends Daniel dire qu’il n’y a pas la paix, je n’ai même plus le courage de me marier et de porter un enfant. Dans ces conditions, mon fils ne va pas endurer les souffrances que j’ai vécues’’, soutient-elle, presque les larmes aux yeux.

’’En 1990, j’étais en 5-ème secondaire. Un jour, mon père est venu me chercher à l’école. Nous devrions partir en Guinée-Bissau. Mon père, soupçonné d’appartenance au MFDC a été arrêté quelques jours auparavant puis libéré. Il n’avait plus qu’une idée : quitter la Casamance’’, témoigne Fatou devant une assistance majoritairement féminine.

Elle ajoute : ’’Nous avons marché pendant 12 jours, de Oukout jusqu’à Varéla, en Guinée-Bissau. Sur place, mon père m’a donné en mariage. Mais je n’étais pas heureuse dans mon couple, car je n’aimais pas ce mari là. Notre vie a été très dure en Guinée. Nous sommes rentrés. J’ai finalement appris que mon père est décédé là-bas. Et nous l’avons su trois jours après qu’il soit décédé (…)’’.

Venue de Bignona, une autre femme a aussi appelé à la tenue des négociations pour l’avènement d’’’une paix définitive’’ dans la région.

Ressassant son infortune qui la traumatise tous les jours, elle indique : ’’Ma fille était partie à la cueillette. C’est de là qu’elle est revenue en courant. Elle a été pourchassée par un homme qui portait un tee-shirt Lacoste noir. Et depuis lors, je suis traumatisée quand je vois un type avec un Lacoste noir. Les populations sont fatiguées avec ce conflit. Nous invitons le gouvernement et le MFDC à négocier pour l’avènement d’une paix définitive’’.

Depuis l’accord de paix signé en 2004, la Casamance où sévit un mouvement indépendantiste connaît une accalmie. Cependant de nombreuses voies s’élèvent pour inviter les deux parties à la table des négociations pour une paix définitive.

Mais avant la tenue de ces négociations, le MFDC veut l’organisation d’assises internes.
